Levi Rhum

Drum Instructor

The Rhum Academy has been a part of my life since before I can remember. I started learning drums at age 5 and have a lot of experience performing on stage and collaborating with other musicians. I have studied under founder Gary Rhum and under instructors Tim Edwards and James Lightsey. I have experience performing at Rhum Academy Student Nights, Strawberry Festival in Downtown Kokomo and Rhum Fest. I play a wide range of genres including rock, pop, jazz, blues, Latin music and more.

In addition to playing for Rhum Academy, I participate in Western High School Band as a percussionist. I play drum kit for the Western Wind Symphony and Western Jazz Band. I was chosen as Outstanding Band Student for my grade level for the 2021-22 school year. I also have experience playing for church in a youth band.

I enjoy working with students of all ages and hope to help them reach their musical goals in a fun and inspiring way!
