Rhum Academy offers a wide range of musical and artistic instruction for all types of students! We offer private lessons for all ages, beginning through advanced levels. We will work to find the perfect fit for you, no matter where you are in your musical journey. Private Music Lessons
All Ages & All Levels
The Rhum Academy offers private lessons in today's most popular instruments: acoustic and electric guitar and bass, piano and keyboards, drums and percussion, vocals, ukulele, violin, mandolin and more. Tuition is $85.00 per month, for weekly half-hour lessons. We teach all levels and all ages at Rhum Academy. Our students are also welcome to participate in our monthly Student Night Concerts where they can perform on a professional stage with other musicians in a non-competitive and supportive environment. Art Classes
Our Art Classroom is shared by three instructors, Deb Edwards, Anna Marcum, and Sami Lightsey. We offer one-on-one art classes for $100 per month, or kids art classes for $40 per month (you can also ask about sharing your private lesson time with a friend or family member for a discounted rate for you both!). Our Kids Classes are once per week for a half-hour. These classes are a small group of no more than five students ages 6-12 and are student led. This means that each student can work in a different medium and on different projects based on their own interests using the shared art supplies in the classroom. The teacher will be available to help each student as needed so they can better accomplish their goals.
Our private art lessons can be scheduled once a week for an hour for $100 per month with any of our art instructors and focus on building your own experience and developing your art style in drawing, painting, or mix media.

Music Together!
Our Music Together classes are designed for children ages birth to four years old to explore music with a caregiver by singing, dancing, listening, and trying instruments! Cost for this class is $40 for weekly half-hour long sessions. Class sizes are limited to ensure safety and quality so email RhumMusic@gmail.com to register!
Sonic Explorers
Our Sonic Explorer Class is a 4 week long experience where students get to learn about and try out a different instrument each week. This class meets on Fridays at 5:15 for a half-hour and new classes begin the first Friday of every month. Cost for the course is $60 which includes all 4 classes. This class is a great way to introduce your child age 5-12 to music and help them choose the instrument that is right for them.
